A dictionary definition of the word “detour” is “a turning; a circuitous way; a deviation from a direct course or the usual procedure especially a roundabout way temporarily replacing part of a route.” In modern day travel, many drivers will use a GPS [Global Positioning System] that provides instructions for drivers to use so that they will know how to get to their destination. As the driver travels, the GPS will tell of any hazards or detours along the way to be avoided. A wise driver will pay attention to GPS instructions and comply with them even when all the instructions are not completely understood at the time. And all GPS devices are manmade; someone somewhere designed and manufactured the device. However, there is one GPS that is not manmade and with the instructions it provides, there are no detours – ever. This GPS [God’s Positioning System] is the Bible, God’s Word for all of humanity. Please allow me to briefly explain and, please do not stop reading this pamphlet.
