Description
A trophy is a symbol of something that is earned and deserved; something that may represent an achievement in sports or academics. In sports the trophy may be in the form of something to be set on a shelf or worn around the neck or a document framed and hung on a wall. The trophy may have an inscription that reflects what the beholder did to earn it and who awarded it. Undoubtedly there are those who sincerely believed they should have won or earned a trophy; they did not and for that there may be underlying reasons. Such disappointment is surely felt and seen. Disappointed people may ask themselves why they were passed over. Others may have the attitude of “Oh well, it was not that important” but then they see the recipient(s) with their awards and the accompanying benefits.
In God’s Word, the Bible, we read about a “trophy of grace,” . . . . Every person who truly repents of sin and trusts Jesus Christ as Saviour is a Trophy of God’s Grace! “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” [2 Corinthians 5:17] . . . Friend, you too may become a Trophy of God’s Grace if you will repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as Saviour. Can you trust God’s Word and what it says? Yes, you can!! “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” [Romans 10:13]
This is a 6-page tract.
