Did you know that every Graveyard has a testimony? That’s right it does! That may seem like a strange question to ask but there’s something to stop and think about. And if you’re wondering why, well, it is true that every graveyard does have a testimony. You see, a graveyard is a place where the bodies of people are buried, that is, people who once lived just as you do now. In one sense, a graveyard is like a junkyard, a place where old, worn-out vehicles are discarded. Some of those vehicles may have been new but were involved in an accident that caused them to be discarded. Other vehicles, shall we say, saw their fair use over time but then, one day, it came time for them to be discarded. The discarded vehicles were of different sizes, makes, color, age, etc. These vehicles cannot talk but if they could, they would probably have some very interesting and fascinating stories to tell about their time and how they were used. A vehicle junkyard – a place where vehicles that once transported people, the vehicle now resides. A graveyard – a place where the bodies that once transported people now reside but they themselves no longer occupy the respective vehicle. Some of the vehicles in the vehicle junkyard may have legible information to identify it but others may not because of how long they have been there. In the graveyard, there may or may not be markers [headstones] to identify the vehicle [bodily remains] interred there. The graveyard has the bodily remains of people who once lived in the body, but the people themselves are not there. That is a fact that cannot be denied! You see, all people are eternal souls, and the human body is what we live in during our earthly pilgrimage, however long that may be. When our earthly journey comes to an end [death], the body is left behind as we enter our eternal state but not everyone goes to the same eternal state. Someone may ask, “Why is that?”
