True Love. Something just about everyone is

looking for. Something some people have been looking for their whole lives. Something most people never find, because they are looking in the wrong place.

Something that is available to everyone.

"Wait a minute. Did you say available to everyone? I don’t think I’ll ever find True Love. I’m not very good looking and I don’t have any talents." But you see, this True Love is available to everyone. And you may have it right now if you like. You are probably saying, "Where is (s)he?" But I am not speaking of finding a life’s mate, for this True Love will give you more joy and fulfillment than any person ever could. I am referring to a different kind of love. A love that is more true than what any man or woman can give you. A love that is more true than that of Mother or Father, sister or brother; and, yes, more true than that of a Sweetheart. I am speaking of a love that is so deep and so sincere, so sacrificial and so giving, that One laid down His life in order for all to benefit from this True Love. If you would like to know more about this True Love, read on.

You see, I am speaking of the love of Jesus Christ Himself. Over two thousand years ago, Christ left His home in Heaven and came to earth, being born of a virgin in Bethlehem. He did it knowing the awful price that was to be exacted from Him. He knew that when He came to this earth, He would face a terrible death on the cross of Calvary, and worse yet, a temporary separation from God. Yet still Christ came. And do you know why He came? He came because He loved you. His True Love was His only reason to face that terrible death. And this True Love is a love that is extended to you. Christ loved the entire human race. He did not die for a select few. He died for ALL!! John 3:16 says that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..." You see, Christ gave His life for ALL, so that ALL could have eternal life! So that ALL could experience True Love!

At this point you might be saying, "O.K. So how do I get in on this True Love?" I’ll tell you. The answer is found in God’s Holy Word, the Bible (KJV). First, you must realize and admit you are a sinner. "For all have sinned" (Rom. 3:23). "There is none righteous..." (Rom. 3:10). Everyone living on this earth has at some point in time committed an act of sin. Whether it be lying, disobedience, murder, stealing, etc. We have all committed sin, and in order to get in on this True Love, you must realize that you are a sinner, and repent of that sin. Next, you must understand that there is a punishment for that sin. Rom. 6:23 says that because of our sin, we deserve and are headed for an eternal separation from God and an eternal punishment in Hell. But don’t despair. God has provided a way out of that condemnation.

Rom. 5:8 tells us that God showed His True Love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross as punishment for us. He, who knew no sin (2 Cor. 5:21), took all our sins upon Himself when He died on Calvary. Furthermore, all you have to do is follow Rom. 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you believe that you are a sinner, that you deserve Hell, and that the only way to be forgiven of your sins is through Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the Cross, then bow your head right now and confess your sins to God and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. He will, for in His Word He says that "he who cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).

Once you do this, you will begin to experience God’s True Love for you.
