Once again it is Mother’s Day
And I am writing just to say
Thank you Mother, for loving me
Thank you, Mother, for bended knee.
When I was young ‘twas hard to know
The motherly love you did show,
But since I’m older, I can see
The godly love you showed to me.
With heavy heart Mother did pray,
“Lord, save my son and change his way.”
And God did hear in Heav’n above,
He saved her son through Calv’ry’s love.
Now he is living just to see
One more lost soul on bended knee.
‘Tis made possible, I believe,
Because of mother’s love for me.
A heart of love I want to share
Words inadequate to declare
Thank you, Mother, for loving me;
Thank you, Mother, for bended knee.
