To God be the glory
For I’ve heard the story
Of God’s great love
From heaven above
Of how God gave
His Son to save
This sin-cursed earth
Thru second birth
He died for me
Upon a tree
The cursed cross
Of Calvary
He shed His blood
The scarlet flood
That I might have
The cleansing salve
I confessed my sin
God’s pardon to win
He saved my soul
He made me whole
