As I walk this path of life,
Satan besets with times of strife.
But as I'm in this course of life
Jesus comforts in times of strife.
I know not why these things must be,
But one day soon His face I'll see.
A glorious day that 'twill be,
Free of sin no more to see.
Salvation from God my soul secured,
Peace and comfort I'm assured
Yes, I know He's given to me,
His Holy Spirit to walk with me.
A mansion, a home, in Heaven above,
Prepared for me, by God's great love.
A world of sin, a life of woe,
Left behind, to Heaven I'll go.
